AUD/USD slightly soft; Westpac update weighs

The Westpac share price is down by nearly 3.5% after the bank issued its latest quarterly earnings. The AUD/USD has been unable to maintain its gains above .8300 and has slipped back to a low of .8262 thus far. Decent bids are reported towards .8250 with stops below 50. Offers are seen around .8335 with supposedly large buy stops above .8360.
