EUR/USD wilting a little under EUR/GBP selling pressure

The EUR/USD failed to break above yesterdays 1.4968 high and is now drifting lower after what has been an extremely quiet session for the pair. EUR/GBP selling has been very heavy and this has eventually trumped the EUR/JPY buying which was seen earlier. I expect to see further consolidation inside 1.4930/60 before Europe enters the fray.
