RBA says Australian Banks to face more demanding regulations

Malcolm Edey, the RBA's assistant governor of the financial system, said while there were signs of economc recovery, it was still tentative. He went on to say that the Australian financial system had held up better than its offshore counterparties, but saw an increase in costs for the banks to do business and more regulations.
