China July Sugar Imports Up Sharply On Year At 132,982 Tons

BEIJING -- China's sugar imports in July rose sharply to 132,982 metric tons from 21,910 tons last July, the General Administration of Customs said Monday.

In the January-July period, sugar imports rose 57% to 863,217 tons.
