Japan Fin Min Yosano: Won't Attend G20 Mtg In London At Wkend

TOKYO -- Japanese Finance Minister Kaoru Yosano said Tuesday he will not attend a planned meeting of finance officials from the Group of 20 countries in London this weekend, as his doctor has advised against his participation.

Yosano said Japan will instead send Senior Vice Finance Minister Wataru Takeshita to the two-day meeting starting Friday.
