EUR/USD slips back below 1.4900

EUR/JPY selling has succeeded in driving EUR/USD back below 1.4900 and I would expect to see some consolidation between 1.4830/1.5000 for the remainder of the week. No sign yet of any Sovereign buyers emerging and if they stay away for a few weeks, we may be in for a deeper retracement.
