BEIJING -- China's crude oil production rose 0.8% in September to 15.72 million metric tons, equivalent to 3.84 million barrels a day, data from the National Bureau of Statistics confirmed Thursday.
In the first three quarters of this year, China's crude oil output fell 0.5% to 141.69 million tons.
Thursday's data showed China produced 6.88 billion cubic meters of natural gas in September, up 8% on year. In the January-September period, natural gas production rose 8.1% to 63.16 billion cubic meters.
