Regional stockmarkets performing well

Gold and commodity related stocks have been performing well around the region and both the Nikkei and the Hang Seng are up around 1.25%. The USD is holding on to its modest gains from this morning, currently trading at 88.90 against the JPY and 1.4695 against the EUR.
