Asian stock markets mixed, gold gives up some gains

Gold is down $5 from its overnight highs, currently trading around $992/oz. The Nikkei and Shanghai are both down around 0.3%, the Kospi is down 0.9% but Sydney and HK are both slightly higher. These quiet markets and tonights NFP are convincing FX traders to take it easy today.
